Impaired communication skills of pupils with behavioural problems

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce byla zaměřena na narušenou komunikační schopnost u žáka s poruchami chování, především na vývojovou dysfázii a chlapcův pokrok v komunikaci od útlého dětství, zejména pak v době, kdy nastoupil do první třídy ZŠ logopedické až do dnešní doby. V první kapitole teoretické části byla popsána základní terminologie vývojové dysfázie, její různorodá etiologie a symptomy. Dále byla zdůrazněna důležitost diferenciální diagnostiky vývojové dysfázie, včetně možné terapie reedukace. V druhé části byly shrnuty dosavadní poznatky o specifických vzdělávacích potřebách dětí dle odborné literatury. Výzkumná část se zabývá analýzou konkrétního případu integrace chlapce s poruchami chování do základního vzdělávání. Šetření zkoumá posun ve vývoji a pokrok ve vzdělávání během integrace, roli pedagogů a názory rodičů a třídní učitelky. Výzkum je založen na osobním dlouhodobém pozorování daného žáka ve vyučování. Pro zpracování případové studie bylo využito analýzy osobních, školních i zdravotních dokumentů s doplňujícími informacemi od maminky žáka a jeho tř. učitelky získaných z rozhovorů. Následovalo vyhodnocení celkového pokroku ve vzdělávání a logopedické intervenci, včetně chování, za období od nástupu do 1. třídy ZŠ logopedické až po současnost.

Abstract:

This thesis was focused on communication disorders of a pupil with behavioural disorders, particularly on developmental dysphasia and the boy's progress in communication from early childhood, especially at a time when he joined the elementary school for pupils with communication disorders in the first grade until today. The first chapter of the theoretical part explains the basic terminology of developmental dysphasia, its diverse etiology and symptoms. It also points out to the importance of differential diagnosis of developmental dysphasia, including a possible therapy of reeducation. The second part summarizes the current knowledge of the specific educational needs of children based on research of relevant literature. The research deals with the analysis of one specific case of integration – a child with behavioural disorders integrated into primary education. The investigation examines the shift in development and progress in education during integration, the role of teachers and the opinions of parents and class teacher. The research is based on a personal long-term observation of the pupil in the classroom. The analysis of personal, school and medical documents was used for the case study. As well as some additional information learned in an interview with the pupil´s mother. The final part includes the evaluation of the pupils overall progress in education and speech therapy reeducation, including behavior – it regards the period from the first class of primary school for pupils with impaired communication skills to present.
