Valve airflow at supercritical speed

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá chováním vzduchu při průtoku ventilem. V tomto případě se jedná o výfukovou klapku, která je umístěna ve spalinové cestě. Jsou zde uvedeny jednotlivé druhy proudění a faktory, které proudění ovlivňují. Nedílnou součástí této práce je konstrukční a funkční návrh měřicího standu, který bude určen pro měření průtoku vzduchu spalinovou výfukovou klapkou a na němž bude možno provádět měření, pro zjišťování korelace mezi měřením objemového průtoku při přetlaku a měřením objemového průtoku při podtlaku. Výfuková klapka je funkční částí motoru, kde pomáhá zajišťovat dosahování emisních limitů. Z tohoto důvodu je nutné zjistit, zda je měření průtoku klapkou prováděno správně. Tato práce má sloužit pro návrh experimentálního zařízení, díky kterému bude možné zjistit, zda tato korelace existuje a jak může být tato vyjádřena. Výsledky experimentálních měření bude následně možno porovnat se současnými výsledky v průmyslové výrobě a s výsledky získanými pomocí simulací.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the behavior of air flow at the valve. In this case, the exhaust valve, which is located on exhaustion system. There are particular types of flow and the factors that influence the flow. An integral part of this thesis is the structural and functional design of the measuring stand on which will be measured air flow through exhaust valve on which it will be possible to perform measurements for determining the correlation between the measurement of volumetric flow at overpressure pressure and volumetric flow measurement at vacuum. The exhaust valve is functional parts of the engine, which helps to reach emission limits. For this reason it is necessary to determine whether the air flow measurement is performed properly. This thesis is intended for the design of experimental device that makes possible to determine whether this correlation exists, and how it can be expressed. The results of experimental measurements can be after compared with the current results from industrial production and the results obtained by simulations.
