The collection of women´s and men´s footwear inspired by traditional indian culture

Abstract:

Mým cílem bylo sjednocení nejnovějších trendů v obouvání spolu s motivy z Indické kultury. S jejich barevností, hravostí, nepřeberným množstvím námětů, jak rostlinných tak i geometrických. Při studiu mě uchvátila dokonalost vzorů, množství technik, které užívají při zdobení obuvi a hlavně jejich kreativita. Proto jsem se snažila přenést část této kultury do mé práce a spojit ji dohromady s novými trendy. V teoretické části jsem se věnovala historii Indie, pak převážně historií a vývojem obouvání, typy indické obuvi a jejich ruční výrobě. V praktické části jsem řešila konečný design modelů a společný vzor inspirovaný touto kulturou.

Abstract:

My goal was the unification of the latest trends in footwear, together with inspiration from Indian culture. Their colours, playfulness, its wealth of ideas, both floral and geometric. I was impressed by the perfection of designs, a number of techniques used in decorating shoes and especially their creativity. So I tried to transfer part of this culture in my work and combine it together with new fashion trends. In the theoretical part, I study the history of India, mainly the history and development of shoes, types of Indian handmade shoes and their manufacture. In the practical part, I address common design patterns and pattern inspired by the culture.
