Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním tzv. degree achievementů, třídou sloves odvozených od adjektiv. Degree achievementy mohou být telické a zároveň atelické. Abstract:
The present thesis studies so-called degree achievements, a class of deadjectival verbs. It was observed that degree achievements can be both telic and atelic. Kennedy and Levin (2008) argue that it might be due to their original adjectival scales: degree achievements derived from the closed scales are telic by default, while the verbs based on the open scales are atelic.
