Financial analysis of a company in insolvency on the example of a company VEBA, textilní závody a. s.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na provedení finanční analýzy společnosti VEBA, textilní závody a. s. v letech 2013 až 2017, která v letech 2018 a 2019 prošel insolvenčním řízením. Cílem této práce je pomocí finanční analýzy určit „okamžik“, kdy společnost začala vykazovat známky blížícího se úpadku, a identifikovat jeho hlavní příčinu. V první části práce je teorie insolvenčního řízení, představení analyzované společnosti a konkurentů. V druhé části jsou popsány jednotlivé ukazatele a bankrotní modely, které jsou následně aplikovány na analyzovanou společnost.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company VEBA, textilní závody a. s. during the years 2013-2017. This company went through insolvency procedures during 2018 and 2019. The main aim of this thesis is to determine the „moment“ since the economic results started to indicate an inpending insolvency and indicate the main cause of this situation. In the first part of the thesis there is description of the insolvency procedures, introduction of the analyzed company and its competition. In the second part, there is description of the financial analysis indicators and bankruptcy models, which are applied on the analysed company.
