Předmětem diplomové práce je norská podpora demokracie zasazená do širšího rámce norské rozvojové spolupráce. Diplomová práce se soustředí na období od roku 1990, kdy byla podpora demokracie v rámci rozvojové spolupráce poprvé explicitně označena za neodmyslitelnou součást rozvoj, do doby sepsání práce. The topic of this thesis is Norwegian democracy support in the context of Norwegian development cooperation.
