Sexual orientation versus discrimination

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat problematiku diskriminace v souvislosti se sexuální orientací. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy týkající se problematiky odlišné sexuální orientace, v další části je práce zaměřena na problematiku diskriminace a ve třetí kapitole teoretické části je provedena komparace registrovaného partnerství a manželství v oblasti veřejného a soukromého práva. Součástí práce je také empirická část, ve které jsem prostřednictvím dotazníkového výzkumu zjišťovala postoj mladých homosexuálně a bisexuálně orientovaných lidí k institutu registrovaného partnerství a k akcím na podporu práv homosexuálů.

Abstract:

The goal of this diploma work is to explore the problems of discrimination in connection to the sexual orientation. In the theoretical section there are defined basic terms related to problems of different sexual orientation, in the next part is the work focused on the problem of discrimination and in the third chapter of the theoretical part there is a comparison made of both registred partnership and marriage in the area of public and private law. The diploma work also contains an empirical part, where i tried to find out through questionnaire research an attitude of young homosexual and bisexual oriented people to the institute of registered partnership and to the actions to support homosexual rights.
