Průkaz znalostí o správné výživě u zdravotních sester a laické veřejnosti jako prevence chorob

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá znalostmi o správné výživě u zdravotních sester a laické veřejnosti. Zjišťuje, zda jsou respondentům dostatečně známy skutečnosti o roli výživy v zabránění vzniku a rozvoje epidemicky se vyskytujících neinfekčních nemocí (obezita, diabetes mellitus II. typu, kardiovaskulární nemoci, hypertenze, osteoporóza a některá nádorová onemocnění). Z výsledku průzkumu vyplývá, že zdravotní sestry jsou dostatečně informovány o správné výživě. Zdravotním sestrám jsou známy skutečnosti o roli výživy v zabránění vzniku a rozvoje výše uvedených neinfekčních nemocí. Výsledky průzkumu u laické veřejnosti dokazují, že téměř polovina respondentů má chybné znalosti v oblasti správné výživy a čtvrtině respondentů chybí informace o vlivu výživy na vznik a rozvoj uvedených neinfekčních nemocí. Alarmující je zjištění o nízké konzumaci zeleniny i ovoce u respondentů. Více jak čtvrtina zdravotních sester a polovina respondentů laické veřejnosti trpěli nadváhou až obezitou.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis (BT) deals with the knowledge of the nurses and lay public in the correct/healthy diet. The BT is finding out whether the respondents know well the facts about the nutrition role in prevention of genesis and development of epidemically occurring non-infectious diseases (obesity, diabetes mellitus of the II. type, cardio-vascular diseases, hypertension, osteoporosis and some tumors). From the survey finding results that the nurses are sufficiently informed about the healthy diet. The nurses know the facts about the role of the nutrition in preventing the genesis and development of the above mentioned non-infectious diseases. The survey findings on the lay public show that almost the half of the respondents has wrong knowledge in the field of correct/healthy diet and one fourth of the respondents lacks information about the effect of the nutrition on the genesis and development of the mentioned non-infectious diseases. The finding of low consuming of vegetables and fruits by the respondents is alarming. More than one fourth of nurses and the half of the lay respondents suffer from excess weight up to obesity.
