Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zmapovat Evropské surfové lokality. V práci jsou popsány kvalitní surfové destinace, známé i ty méně známé jako je severní Evropa. Začátek práce je věnován surfové historii. Surfing se stal součástí LOH, proto je zde kapitola o surfové organizaci ISA, která se o to velkou měrou zasloužila. Surfing si vybírá svoji daň na lidských životech, ale zároveň má jeden z nejhezčích obřadních ceremoniálů. V poslední kapitole je popsáno surfové vybavení, nutné k provozování tohoto vodního sportu.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to explore the European surf locations. Thesis describes the good surfing destination, known and less well-known, such as northern Europe. The beginning is focused at surf history. Surfing has become part of the Olympic Games, so there is a chapter about ISA surf the organization. Surfing is taking human lives, but also has one of the most beautiful ritual ceremonies. The last chapter describes surf equipment required to operate this water sport.
