Wood-Plastic Composites Based on PVC

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat vliv vybraných faktorů na vlastnosti materiálu WPC. Pro daný výzkum byla zvolena směs PVC, dřevní hmota a modifikátor. Bylo namícháno 25 vzorků směsi, které se lišily v množství a zrnitosti přidané dřevní hmoty a v množství přidaného modifikátoru. Následně byly tyto směsi zpracovány na dvou rozdílných kompaudačních zařízeních pro výrobu WPC. Dále byla zkoumána odolnost materiálů vyrobených z těchto směsí ve vztahu k vybraným typům plísní. V teoretické části rešerše jsou kompilační metodou shrnuty zásady složení směsí pro výrobu WPC s ohledem na praktickou část práce. Následuje popis obecných mecha-nických vlastností WPC a charakteristika biodegradace WPC se zaměřením na vybrané plísně. V závěru teoretické části jsou popsána východiska pro zpracování a testování směsí WPC zvolených pro praktickou část práce. V praktické části je popsána příprava vzorků WPC pro testování, podrobný popis průběhu jednotlivých zkoušek a výsledky těchto zkoušek.

Abstract:

The main purpose of the diploma thesis is to characterize the influence of the selected factors to the qualities of the WPC material. The mixture of PVC, wooden mass and modifier were selected for the research. There were twenty five samples of the mixture mixed. The mixtures differed in the quantity, grain and the quantity of the added modifier. The mixtures were utilized then on the two different combaudace devices for WPC production. The endurance of the materials produced of the mixtures in the relationship to the selected mold was the matter of the research as well. The principles of the WPC mixture structure with the regard to the practical part of the thesis are summarized by the compilation method and can be found in the theoretical part of the thesis. The description of the general mechanical features of WPC and the characteristics of the biodegradation WPC regarding selected mold are followed. There are resources for processing and testing WPC mixtures selected for the practical part of the thesis described in the end of the theoretical part of the thesis. The preparation of the WPC samples for testing, the detailed description of the process of the tests and their results are described in the practical part of the thesis The principles of the WPC mixture structure with the regard to the practical part of the thesis are summarized by the compilation method and can be found in the theoretical part of the thesis.
