Theatre of the oppressed as a tool of reflection in work with children from socially disadvantaged environment

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá divadlem forum jako nástrojem prevence při práci s dětmi ze sociálně znevýhodňujícího prostředí. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části autorka přibližuje specifika dítěte ze sociálně znevýhodňujícího prostředí, online svět v kontextu dětského uživatele, kyberšikanu, její prevenci a metodu divadla forum, zvláště pak v kontextu práce s dětmi ze sociálně znevýhodňujícího prostředí. V praktické části autorka poté přibližuje kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem je zjistit, jak děti ze sociálně znevýhodňujícího prostředí reflektují problematiku kyberšikany, a dále popsat případné rozdíly v tom, jak tuto problematiku reflektují před a po zhlédnutí představení divadla forum. Svá zjištění následně porovnává s odbornou literaturou.

Abstract:

This master thesis focuses on the theatre of the oppressed as a tool of reflection in work with children from socially disadvantaged environment. It is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the specifics of child from socially disadvantaged environment, being online as a child, cyberbullying, it`s prevention and a method of the theatre of the oppressed, especially in work with children from socially disadvantaged environment. In the practical part, the author of this work presents qualitative research. Goal of this research is to find out how children from socially disadvantaged environment reflect cyberbullying and describe potencial differences between the children reflection of cyberbullying before and after a performance of the theatre of the oppressed. The findings are then compared with professional literature.
