Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vokálním stylem a operní tvorbou polského hudebního skladatele Stanisława Moniuszka, který se řadí mezi nejvýznamnější polské skladatele. Součástí práce je stručný popis jeho života a je popsán jeho vztah k divadelnímu prostředí. V další části je rozebrán vokální styl autora, problematika interpretace partů jeho oper, jsou zde zmíněni pěvci, s nimiž Moniuszko pracoval, a které obsazoval do svých děl, podle čehož si můžeme dokreslit vokální typovost postav při premiérových uvedeních, jelikož tradice interpretace se od té doby v mnohém změnila. Je zde zmíněný postoj autora k transpozici svých partů, jelikož v mnoha případech svá díla přepracovával podle možností pěvců, nebo své party přepisoval pro jiné hlasové obory. V poslední části práce uvádím průřez operní tvorbou Stanisława Moniuszka. Velká část je věnována jeho první a nejznámější opeře – Halce. Cílem této práce je zvýraznit osobnost Stanisława Moniuszka v Čechách, přiblížit jeho operní tvorbu a napomoci čtenáři k pochopení jeho hudby, vokálnímu stylu a problematice interpretace Moniuszkovy tvorby.

Abstract:

The master’s thesis deals with the vocal style and opera work of polish music composer Stanisław Moniuszko which is one of the greatest composers in Poland. The work includes a brief description of his life, and it describes his relationship to the theatrical environment. The next section discusses the author’s vocal style, the problems of interpreting the parts of his operas, and mentions the singers Moniuszko worked with and cast in his operas, which gives us an idea of the vocal typology of the characters at the premiere performances, whose tradition of interpretation has changed a lot since then. The author’s attitude to the transposition of his parts is mentioned here, as in many cases he reworked his according to the possibilities of the singers or rewrote his parts for other voice category. In the last part of the thesis, I present a cross-section of Moniuszko’s operatic works. A large part is devoted to his first and most famous opera Halka. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the personality of Stanisław Moniuszko in Czech, to introduce his operatic works and to help the reader to understand his music, his vocal style, and the problems of interpreting Moniuszko’s works.
