Project of the Implementation of OTD (On time delivery) Indicator in Engineering Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o implementaci ukazatele doručování na čas ve strojírenském podniku. V rámci pokrokového prozákaznického přístupu nastoleného novým majitelem bylo nutné měřit výkonnost podniku. Cílem práce je nejen ukazatel úspěšně zavést, ale i nalézt oblasti k vlastnímu zlepšení. V rámci zavádění byl sestaven pracovní tým, který popsal informační a materiálové toky na zúčastněných článcích procesu. Následně byl vytvořen standard work pro práci všech zúčastněných osob s daty. Pro interní vyhodnocování pak návod pro sběr dat a checklisty, které ukazují jak s daty pracovat a vyhodnocovat. Pro nalezení zdůvodnění byl použit ishikawa diagram a výsledné vyhodnocování OTD se provádí paretovými diagramy. Výsledkem jsou vypovídající data, na která se od počátku roku 2023 reaguje a vedou ke zvýšení výkonnosti podniku.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with implementation of on-time delivery in a engineering company. As part of the progressive pro-customer approach established by new owner, it became necessary to measure performance of the business. The aim of the thesis is not only to implement the indicator successfully, but also to find areas for self-improvement. As part of the implementation, a team was established to describe the information and material flows on the participating links in the process. Subsequently, a standard-work was created for all involved to work with the data. For internal evaluation, a data collection guide and checklists were then developed to show how to work with, and evaluate the data. The ishikawa diagram was used to find the substantiation and the OTD evaluation was done with pareto diagrams. The result is data that is acted upon and lead to improved business performance from the beginning of 2023.
