Reform trends in the pension system in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá reformními tendencemi v systému důchodového zabezpečení v ČR s cílem navrhnout řešení dané situace. Teoretická část popisuje historii důchodového systému, jeho současné problémy a návrhy na řešení z české politické scény. Dále je věnovaná pozornost důchodovým reformám v zahraničí. V praktické části je analyzována problematika prvního pilíře, role zaměstnavatelů v důchodovém zabezpečení a otázka finanční gramotnosti z pohledu osvěty důchodové problematiky. Závěr práce se zabývá shrnutím zjištěných výsledků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis evaluates reform trends in the pension system in the Czech Republic and its purpose is to suggest solutions regarding this situation. The theoretical section of this thesis describes the history of the pension system, its current problems and suggestions of solutions from the Czech political sphere. Furthermore there is an analysis of the pension systems in foreign countries and how they can relate to the aforementioned topic. In the practical element of the thesis there is an analysis of the first pension pillar, the role of employers in pension secure and question of financial literacy from the view of edification pension problems. The conclusion of my work is dedicated to the summary of detected outcomes.
