Place of a Social Pedagogue in Health Facilities

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním sociálního pedagoga ve zdravotnických zařízeních rozličného typu. Vzhledem k tomu, že sociální pedagog a sociální pracovník zastává v mnoha zahraničních zemích totožnou profesí, zaměřujeme výzkumnou část na uplatnění sociálního pedagoga ve zdravotnických zařízeních skrze názory sociálních pracovníků ve zdravotnictví nebo zdravotně sociálních pracovníků na svou profesi. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, zda lze najít uplatnění pro sociálního pedagoga ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Teoretická část pojednává především o sociální práci ve zdravotnictví tak, abychom získali adekvátní teoretický podklad pro možné uplatnění sociálního pedagoga ve zdravotnictví vzhledem k příbuznosti těchto oborů. Praktická část diplomové práce byla realizována for-mou kvalitativního výzkumného šetření. Dotazujeme se sociálních pracovníků na jejich pohled na profesi sociálního pracovníka ve zdravotnictví s cílem zjistit, zda lze nalézt ve zdravotnickém zařízení místo pro uplatnění sociálního pedagoga, jako tomu je v některých za-hraničních zemích. Chceme též zjistit, zda má sociální pedagog odpovídající kompetence pro výkon profese ve zdravotnickém zařízení v takové míře, aby se mohl stát plnohodnotnou součástí multidisciplinárního týmu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a use of social pedagogue in various types of health facilities. In regard to a fact that social pedagogue and social worker stand as a same profession in lot of countries, we aim his research work to a use that works in health facilities through opinions of social workers in health care or socially health workers on their profession. The aim of this thesis is to find out, whether it is possible to find use for a social pedagogue in health care facility. The theoretical part deals with a social work in a way, that we can obtain a suitable theoretical basis for possible use of social pedagogue in health care due to the similarities of these courses. The practical part of the thesis was realized in form of a qualitative survey. We are questioning the social workers on their view of the profession of social worker with an aim knowing whether it is possible to find use for a social pedagogue, as it is in a foreign countries. We also want to know, whether has the social worker appropriate competence for performing the profession in social facility in such extent, that he is able to fulfill a part of multidisciplinary team.
