The topic of this thesis is the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the difficulties it has to face due to its specific position within the British society and political system, with the aim to conclude whether the current state of the organization is sustainable. Abstract:

Tématem této práce je British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) a problémy, kterým musí čelit, kvůli své specifické pozici v britské společnosti a politickém systému. Cílem je zjistit, zda je současný stav této organizace dlouhodobě udržitelný. Práce dále zkoumá její přijetí nového manažerského paradigmatu, nazývaného Public Value Theory, a obtíže, jenž vyvstávají při jeho uvedení do praxe.
