V této bakalářské práci se věnuji funkci transkripčního faktoru STAT3. STAT3 hraje významnou úlohu v regulaci biologických pochodů mnoha typů buněk včetně kmenových. V poslední době se však ukazuje, že význam proteinu STAT3 nemusí spočívat jen v regulaci exprese genů, které přímo ovlivňují buněčné dělení, diferenciaci buněk a apoptózu, ale také v regulaci energetického metabolismu buněk. In this thesis I describe the function of transcriprion factor STAT3. STAT3 plays an important role in a regulation of many cell types including stem cells.
