Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat metody ovládání mysli a vzpoury v románu George Orwella Devatenáct set osmdesát čtyři (1984) ve srovnání s historickými a současnými paralelami. Práce přibližuje žánr dystopie a nahlíží do Orwellova života a na to, odkud čerpal inspiraci. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis aims to analyse the methods of mind control and revolt in George Orwell’s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984) in comparison with historical and contemporary parallels. The thesis introduces the dystopian genre and offers insight into Orwell’s life and from where he drew inspiration.
