Cílem této diplomové práce je formulovat roli kybernetiky v rámci současné vědy, a to na základě historického kontextu vzniku a vývoje kybernetiky. Historický kontext je zde analyzován skrze popis americké kybernetiky a "proto-kybernetiky", počínaje vznikem Fordova Rangekeeperu v roce 1916 až po zformování Wienerovy kybernetiky ve čtyřicátých letech a její pokračování v letech padesátých. The goal of this Master's Thesis is to formulate the role of cybernetics within contemporary science on the basis of historical context of its origins and development.
