The master's thesis, called Being a Healer: Anthropology of Czech alternative medicine is based on field research and on the field of alternative healing practices. Author of the thesis tries to describe healing experience acquired by the users of alternative medicine during healing, primarily through their physical and emotional experience while they are undergoing the treatment.
