Johann Sebastian Bach - St John Passion, Musical-Theological Analysis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Johann Sebastian Bach - Janovy pašije, hudebně - teologický rozbor se zabývá pašijovým oratoriem podle Janova evangelia, které vzniklo během působení J. S. Bacha v Lipsku. Obsahuje kapitoly o historickém vývoji pašijí jakožto hudební formy, o Bachově nástupu na post lipského kantora a taktéž se zabývá okolnostmi vzniku Janových pašijí a jejich úpravami. Stěžejní částí je pak hudební analýza a rozbor tohoto díla.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis entitled Johann Sebastian Bach - St John Passion, Musical-Theological Analysis deals with the passion oratorio of the Gospel According to John, which was created during J. S. Bach’s work in Leipzig. It contains chapters on the historical development of passions as a musical form, on Bach's accession to the post of Leipzig cantor, and also deals with the circumstances of the origin of the St John Passions and their adaptations. The key part of the thesis is the musical analysis and analysis of this work.
