Information Duty and Requesting Information from Customers during Investment Services Providing

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá informační povinností poskytovatele investičních služeb vůči zákazníkům a procesem získávání a vyhodnocování informací o zákaznících při poskytování investičních služeb. Cílem předkládané práce je analýza právní úpravy pravidel jednání poskytovatelů investičních služeb se zákazníky, resp. informování zákazníků a vyžadování informací od zákazníků při poskytování investičních služeb, odpovědnosti za porušení právních předpisů upravující oblasti jednání se zákazníky a posouzení adekvátnosti rozsahu poskytovaných a vyžadovaných informací s ohledem na eliminaci informační asymetrie a posílení ochrany investorů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the information duty of investment service provider towards customers and with the process of requesting and evaluation of information about customers during providing them with investment services. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the legislation of the rules of conduct with customers, more precisely the analysis of informing customers and requesting information from them during providing investment services to them, liability for violation of the laws governing the area of dealing with customers and assessing the adequacy of the range of provided and required information with regard to the elimination of information asymmetries and strengthening the protection of investors.
