Existuje několik široce používaných metod ukládání a zpracování dat síťových toků. Většina existujících nástrojů implementuje pouze protokol NetFlow v9, který není dostatečně flexibilní aby uspokojil rostoucí poptávku po rozšiřování sledovaných informací. There are several widely used methods of storing and processing network traffic flow data. Majority of existing tools implement only NetFlow v9 protocol, which is not flexible enough to encompass growing demand for additional flow information.
