Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl přiblížit současný stav etického diskursu v ČR a argumentací ohledně eutanazie a paliativní léčby. V úvodu se zabývá etymologií a historickou sémantikou pojmu eutanazie v klíčových historických obdobích, následuje objasnění pojmu v současné době.
