The role of fairy tales in the socialization of preschool children

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá rolí pohádek v socializaci předškolních dětí. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jak matky vnímají roli pohádek v socializaci svých dětí, a to jak v rovině primární socializace, tak i v rovině socializace sekundární. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování hlavních pojmů diplomové práce, a to na socializaci předškolních dětí a na pohádky a jejich roli v socializaci předškolních dětí. Pro uskutečnění výzkumného šetření byl využit kvalitativní přístup, konkrétně hloubkový polostrukturovaný rozhovor, kterého se zúčastnilo osm respondentů. V empirické část je poté popsána metodologie a jsou zde prezentovány výsledky výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with the role of fairy tales in the socialization of preschool children. The aim of the thesis is to find out how mothers perceive the role of fairy tales in the socialization of their children, both in terms of primary socialization and secondary socialization. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is focused on defining the main concepts of the thesis, namely the socialization of preschool children and fairy tales and their role in the socialization of preschool children. A qualitative approach was used to conduct the research investigation, namely an in-depth semi-structured interview in which eight respondents participated. The empirical section then describes the methodology and presents the results of the research investigation.
