Comparison of Relationships to Downhill Skiing in a Generational Perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pod názvem "Komparace vztahů k lyžování v generační perspektivě" se zabývá pohledem na vztah a podobu lyžování u dvou generačních skupin. Hlavním tématem je porovnání přístupů s možnostmi doby u osob starších 40 let a u věkové kategorie kolem 20 let . Avšak tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje i na historii a současnost lyžování, přičemž se zajímá i o problémy spojenými s koronavirovou pandemií, která výrazným způsobem promluvila i do provozování lyžování. Stěžejním bodem této práce je poté i zaměření na důvody výběru tohoto sportu s ohledem na ekonomické možnosti, které tuto sportovní aktivitu ovlivňují. V teoretické části budou také zmíněné myšlenky Pierra Burdieuho s a Thomase Hyllanda Eriksena. Při výzkumu je použita především kvalitativní metodologie, a to polostrukturované rozhovory, ale značnou měrou rovněž biografická metoda. Cílem práce je pak zjistit rozdíly ve vnímání lyžování u dvou zmíněných věkových kategorií.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis entiled "Comparison of relationships to skiing in a generational perspective" looks at the relationship and formo of skiing in two generational groups. The main theme is the comparison of approaches with time opportunities for those aged over 40 and those aged around 20. However, this bachelor's thesis also focuses on the history and present of skiing, while also taking an interest in the problems associated with the coronavirus pandemic, which has also spoken prominently into the opration of skiing. The focus of this work is then on focusing on the rasons for choosing this sport with regard to the economic possibilities that affect this sporting aktivity. The theoretical section will also include the mentioned ideas of Pierre Bourdieu and Thomas Hylland Eriksen. The research uses mainly qualitative methosology, namely semi-structured conversations, but to a large extent also the biographical method. The aim of the work is to find out the differences in perception of skiing between the mentioned ages.
