Documentation of cultural and social situation in ex Yugoslavian countries.

Anotace:

The first chapter introduces the reader to the primary theories, ethics and ideas and which circulate among this movement. The chapter also focuses to theoretical researches of different authors within the movement. The second chapter includes an overview and history of the European squatting scene. The mentioned countries and squats within them where visited by the author during his travels in 2015 and allowed him to witness different aspects and approaches of this movement. The third chapter represents a research among the most common visual media used in squats. It names authors and artist whose works are related to this movement and creates an idea of visual aesthetics within a squatted community. The fourth chapter contains the authors photographs related to the squatting movement. It also includes the concept and plans for the realisation of the final work.
