Abstract:

Predmetom tejto práce je rozdiel v zobrazení spôsobov krotenia zlej ženy v rôznych fiktívnych dielach, počínajúc Williamom Shakespearom až po moderné interpretácie. Hlavným cieľom práce je analyzovať metódy krotenia zobrazené v Shakespearovom Skrotení zlej ženy a preskúmať, ako sa zobrazenie tohto motívu mení v rôznych žánroch a rôznych epochách. Táto práca je systematicky rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Prvá kapitola rozoberá metódy krotenia v Shakespearovom Skrotení zlej ženy, čím ponúka základ pre pochopenie tejto problematiky. Druhá a tretia kapitola sa zameriavajú na zobrazenie krotenia zlej ženy v rôznych epochách a žánroch. Zatiaľ čo druhá kapitola sa zaoberá krotením zlej ženy v dramatických variáciách, tretia kapitola skúma filmové variácie a ich interpretovanie krotenia zlej ženy. Štvrtá kapitola demonštruje zmeny v zobrazení metód krotenia v priebehu rokov a v riešeniach problematiky krotenia zlej ženy.

Abstract:

The object of the thesis is a difference in the representation of shrew-taming techniques in various fictional works, starting from William Shakespeare up to modern interpretations. The main focus of the thesis is to analyze taming techniques depicted in Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew and examine how the depiction of the motif varies in different genres and different epochs. The thesis is systematically divided into four chapters. The first chapter analyzes taming techniques in Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew and thus offers a key to understanding this issue. The second and the third chapter focus on the depiction of shrew-taming in different epochs and genres. While the second chapter deals with shrew-taming in dramatic variations, the third chapter examines film variations and their interpretations of shrew-taming. The fourth chapter demonstrates changes in the depiction of taming techniques through the years and in the solutions offered for the issue of shrew-taming.
