Car in the entrepreneurial matter and its relation to the tax and accounting regulations

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá automobilem v podnikání a jeho vztahem k daňovým a účetním předpisům České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na kapitoly dle jednotlivých úkonů prováděných s automobilem, tedy na pořízení, používání a pozbytí. Součástí každé kapitoly jsou i praktické příklady, které mají za úkol jednotlivé situace správně daňově vypočíst a následně je zaúčtovat. V první kapitole budou rozebrány jednotlivé způsoby pořízení vozidla včetně jeho ocenění, přičemž největší zřetel bude brán na finanční leasing. Kapitola pojednávající o používání automobilu bude zaměřena nejenom na účetní a daňovou problematiku využívání vozidla podnikatelem (zaměstnavatelem), ale bude zde rozebrána i problematika, kdy je tento automobil poskytnut zaměstnanci k používání. Poslední kapitola pojednává o jednotlivých způsobech pozbytí automobilu jako je prodej, krádež, zničení nebo předčasný konec leasingu.

Abstract:

This thesis examines a car in the entrepreneurial matter and its relation to the tax and accounting regulations of the Czech Republic. The paper is divided into chapters according to the individual procedures performed with the car, thus the acquisition, use and disposal. Moreover, every chapter includes businesslike operations that are supposed to calculate and record them correctly. The subject of the first chapter will be different ways of acquisition, including its valuation, with the highest focus on a financial leasing. The chapter related to the use of a car will; besides the tax and accounting issue connected with the use of the car by the entrepreneur (employer) also consider situations when the car is provided to and used by an employee. Finally, the last chapter analyzes diverse approaches of disposal such as its sale, theft, damage or an early termination of the leasing.
