Prevention of risk behavior in relation to internet and social networks

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je orientována na problematiku rizikových jevů, plynoucích z virtuálního prostředí. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy jako kyberprostor, sociální sítě zejména pak Facebook a negativní jevy objevující se v souvislosti s aktivním užíváním internetu, mezi které můžeme řadit kyberšikanu, kybergrooming, kyberstalking nebo sexting. Empirická část práce vychází z výzkumného šetření zaměřujícího se na aktivitu a bezpečné užívání internetu žáky VI. ročníků základních škol ve městě Ústí nad Labem. Pro komplexnost zjištěných informací byly uskutečněny rozhovory také se školními metodiky prevence a třídními učiteli daných ročníků. Výsledkem jsou strukturovaná doporučení a možnosti vedoucí ke zefektivnění preventivních aktivit.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is dealing with the issue of risk effects arising from the virtual environment. The theoretical part defines the concepts as cyberspace, social networks especially Facebook and the negative phenomena related to the active use of the internet which could be cyberbullying, cybergrooming, cyberstalking or sexting. The empirical part is based on the research survey which was focused on the active and safe use of the internet by the students i of the elementary school in the city of Ústí nad Labem. To make the research complete the individual interviews were conducted with the specific class teachers and educational consultants. The results are structured recommendations and opportunities which would make the prevention activities more efficient.
