Cílem této diplomové práce bylo charakterizovat české vodoprávní řízení v souladu s platnou právní úpravou. Tato práce popisuje historii českého vodního práva, platnou úpravu ve vodním zákoně. Upozorňuje na střet tří nejvýznamnějších právních úprav při vedení vodoprávního řízení. Dále popisuje organizaci na úseku vodního práva a průběh vodoprávního řízení.
