Abstract:
This study deals with Czech translation of rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar created by A. L.Webber and librettist T. Rice. The rock opera was translated by M. Prostějovský into Czech. The aim of thesis is to compare Czech translation with English original. Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá českým překladem rockové opery Jesus Christ Superstar skladatele A. L. Webbera a libretisty T. Ricea. Do češtiny rockovou operu přeložil český textař a přebásník M. Prostějovský. Cílem práce je srovnání českého překladu s anglickým originálem. Úvodní teoretická část práce se zprvu věnuje obecnému vývoji muzikálu jako žánru hudebního divadla.
