Tato diplomová práce se zabývá českým překladem a analýzou vybraných částí překladu dětské knihy britského autora Roalda Dahla s názvem Žirafa a Pelly a já. Práce se konkrétně zaměřuje na překlad přítomných neologismů, bezekvivalentní lexiky a říkanek. This diploma thesis deals with the Czech translation and analysis of selected parts of the translation of the children’s book The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me written by British author Roald Dahl.
