Abstract:

Struktura této následující práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí - teoretická a praktická část. V první teoretické části bude vysvětleno pojetí médií a jeho význam. Bude prezentováný stručný přehled historie médií, jeho hlavní typy a vliv a účinky médií na jednotlivce, poznávání a společnost. kromě toho, hlavní téma této práce Médium je poselství, které prohlásil Marshall McLuhan bude vysvětleno a popsáno pro lepší chápání médií a jeho způsob změny v lidském vnímání informací. Druhá část této práce je založena na výzkumu a analýze hlavních hypotézí. Bude zkoumáno jak důležité jsou média v nově začínající firmě, s jakými druhy médií by společnost měla pracovat pokud nemá dostatek finančních prostředků a potřebuje doručit zprávu potenciálním zákazníkům, a také jak by společnost měla postupovat pokud chce uspět v dnešním konkurenčním prostředí. Na konci této práce bude popsáno srovnání mezi malými, středními a velkými podniky.

Abstract:

The structure of this following thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical part. In the first theoretical part will be explained the concept of media and its meaning. There will be presented brief overview of media history, its main types and the influence and effects of media on individuals, cognition and society. Moreover, the main topic of this thesis Medium is a message which was said by Marshall McLuhan will be explained and described for better understanding of media and its way of changing people´s perception of information. The second part of this thesis is based on research and analysis of the main hypothesis. There will be examine how important are media in new startup enterprise, with which kind of media the company should work if it does not have a big amount of money and it needs to deliver a message to the potential customers, and also how the company should proceed if it wants to succeed in today’s competitive environment. At the end of this thesis will be described the comparison within the small, medium and the large sized enterprises.
