Abstract:

SEKÁČ, David. The Profession of Manager in the Hotel Industry. [Bachelor´s Dissertation] The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague: 2017. Total page numbers 54. The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of the profession of hotel manager. The aim of the thesis is to determine objective requirements for the manager. The theoretical part summarizes a relatively comprehensive view of the chosen issue, as the work is oriented towards understanding the management, the function of the managers and their tasks. Work in general defines personality, but also specifically elaborates on the personality requirements of the manager. The analytical part is devoted to the questionnaire survey - a structured interview that helped me to evaluate hypotheses, research questions and fulfill the goal of work, ie to find out the necessary skills of the manager and to draw a perfect manager profile using the respondents. I found out from the results that the main features of the manager's personality are the required communication, organization and working with people. In the design part, the thesis focuses on recommendations and suggestions for possible solutions to identified problems on the topic. In my bachelor thesis, I relied on a methodological approach. The theoretical part points to general views on the issue and is a summary of the most up-to-date information.

SEKÁČ, David. Profesia manažéra v hotelierstve. [Bakalárska práca] Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha: 2017. Celkový počet strán 54. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou na tému profesia manažéra v hotelierstve. Cieľom práce je určiť objektívne požiadavky na manažéra. V teoretickej časti je zhrnutý relatívne ucelený pohľad na vybranú problematiku, keďže sa práca orientuje na pochopenie manažmentu, funkcie manažérov a ich úlohy. Práca vo všeobecnosti definuje osobnosť, ale i konkrétne rozpracováva požiadavky na osobnosť manažéra. Analytická časť práce sa venuje dotazníkovému zisťovaniu – štrukturovanému rozhovoru, ktorý mi pomohol pri vyhodnocovaní hypotéz, výskumných otázok a naplnení cieľa práce, čiže zistiť potrebné schopnosti manažéra a vykresliť pomocou respondetov dokonalý profil manažéra. Z výsledkov som zistil, že za hlavné vlastnosti osobnosti manažéra sú požadované komunikácia, organizovanie a práca s ľudmi. V návrhovej časti sa práca zameriava na odporúčania a návrhy k možným riešeniam zistených problémov k tématike. Pri zhotovení bakalárskej práce som sa opieral o metodologický postup. Teoretická časť poukazuje na obecné názory k problematike a je súhrnom najaktuálnejších informácií.
