Transportation process on the example of BDP International company

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat mezinárodní námořní přepravu, definovat postavení NVOCC operátora na trhu námořní přepravy a ukázat praktickou stránku realizace objednávky na příkladu konkrétní NVOCC společnosti.Teoretická část bude věnovaná obecné charakteristice námořní přepravy, souvisejících pojmů a procesu kontejnerizace. Další kapitola představí náhled na základní subjekty trhu námořní přepravy, na kterou naváže bližší popis NVOCC operátora jako zvláštní jednotky. Poslední část teorie vysvětlí problematiku dodacích podmínek Incoterms.Praktická část se nejprve zaměří na průběh zpracování exportní objednávky. Budou znázorněné a vysvětlené nejdůležitější aspekty pro plánování přepravy. V závěru budou analyzované problematické oblasti v realizaci, pro které bude na základě reálných dat navrženo řešení.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize international maritime transport, to define the position of NVOCC operator in the maritime transport market and to show the practical side of order realization on the example of a particular NVOCC company.The theoretical part will be devoted to the general characteristics of maritime transport, related concepts and the process of containerization. The next chapter will present an overview of the basic subjects of the maritime transport market, which will be followed by a more detailed description of the NVOCC operator as a special unit. The last part of the theory explains the issue of Incoterms delivery terms.The practical part will first focus on the processing of export order. The most important aspects for transport planning will be shown and explained. In conclusion, the problematic areas in the implementation will be analyzed, for which a solution will be proposed based on real data.
