Acting in the Context of Yoga Psychophysical Training

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je prozkoumání procesu herecké tvorby, konkrétně během zkoušeníabsolventské inscenace Barunka is leaving v divadle DISK, v kontextu jógovéhopsychofyzického tréninku. Ráda bych si ověřila, jak tento trénink může v herecképráci pomoci a jak může naopak svazovat. Nakolik může napomáhat schopnostikoncentrace na jevišti i během zkušebního procesu divadelního útvaru. Dalšímzáměrem této práce je zjistit, jestli může pravidelné praktikování jógy pomoct vupevňování kruhu veřejné samoty a jakým způsobem dosáhnout, aby tato specifickácvičení nefungovala jenom jako introvertní soustředění. V práci se dále zaměřím narůzné eventuality aplikování jógy na hereckou tvorbu v průběhu zkoušení divadelníinscenace podle cvičení, které aplikovali Konstantin Stanislavskij a Jerzy Grotowski.Už v minulosti se nemálo divadelníků zaobíralo aplikováním jógy. Mezi nejdůležitějšíz nich pro mou dosavadní zkušenost patří právě K. Stanislavskij a J. Grotowski. Tatopráce reflektuje postupy, kterým se reformátoři věnovali, z jakých inspiračních zdrojůčerpali a zároveň co je vedlo k pátrání skrze jógu.Cílem této bakalářské práce je shromáždit poznatky o vylepšování herecké kondicedíky jógovým technikám - fyzickým (asánám), psychickým (koncentrace, zklidněnímysli) a jak tyto poznatky následně využít v procesu zkoušení divadelní inscenace.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to investigate the process of acting, specifically duringrehearsing of graduation performance Barunka is leaving in DISK theatre in contextto yoga psychophysical training. The researcher would like to verify how such atraining can help acting and on the contrary how it can limit it. Psychophysicaltraining can help concentration on the stage and also during the process ofrehearsing performance. Another aim of this work is to discover whether regularpractise of yoga can help with consolidation in circle of public solitude, how to dothese specific exercises as well as how it could work not just in context of introvertedconcentration. In this work I will also focus on eventualities of applying yoga duringrehearsals according to exercises applied by Constantin Stanislavsky and JerzyGrotowski. In the past, already quite a few people from world of theatre incorporatedyoga. The most important for my experience is C. Stanislavsky and J. Grotowski.Therefore, this work analyses approach, which they both pursued, as well as whichresources inspired them, and what led them to search for answers in yogaexcercises.The main contribution consists of an analysis of studies about applying of yogaduring rehearsals and trainings of C. Stanislavsky, J. Grotowski. This knowledge canbe applied during the rehearsal of theatre performance or with individual or colectiveactor training.
