Práce se věnuje rozvoji města Hrádku nad Nisou a vývoji její společnosti v období od 2. pol. 19. stol do 1. pol 20. stol. Mapuje klíčové události v životě města, sleduje vývoj česko-německých vztahů a zkoumá příčiny rozšíření nacistické ideologie mezi obyvateli. This work deals with the development of the town Hrádek nad Nisou a its society in the period from the second half of the 19th century to the first half of 20th century. It covers important events in the life of the town, monitors progress of Czech-German relations and investigates causes of the expansion of the Nazi ideology among the inhabitants.
