Nationalist Movement Party – Turkish Far-Right Party?

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Stranou národního hnutí (MHP). Strana je analyzována v souvislosti s teorií krajní pravice, která je zde vzata jako teoretický rámec. Krátký exkurz se také vztahuje k problematice tureckého nacionalismu, který je základním prvkem ideologie MHP. Samostatná kapitola je věnována historickému vývoji MHP, ve kterém jsou zmíněny nejdůležitější mezníky jejího vývoje. Při samotné analýze je pak zkoumána organizace strany, její ideologie, ekonomický program a stranický elektorát. Na základě probádaných oblastí je možno stanovit, že Strana národního hnutí je krajně pravicovou stranou. Práce vychází ze sekundárních zdrojů především zahraničních autorů.

Abstract:

This thesis is concerned about Nationalist action party (MHP). This party is analysed within the frame of the far right theory, which is taken as the theoretical framework.There is also short introduction into the problems of the turkish nationalism, which is the crucial element of the MHP's ideology. In one of the chapters there is written something about the development of the party, there are mentioned all important turning-points of the party's development. In the analysis itself there is examined the party organization, its ideology, the party's economic programme and the electorate. In the end there is given affirmative answer to the fundamental question, if the Nationalist action party is far-right party.Thesis use mainly secondary literature foreign authors.
