Sorption of inorganic pollutants on iron humates

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím netradičních sorbentů při odstraňování anorganických sloučenin z vod, a také sorpčními vlastnostmi a kapacitou humátů železa. V práci byly hodnoceny sorpční schopnosti humátu železitého a železnatého ve volně sušené a lyofilizované formě pro anorganické polutanty, konkrétně pak kationty mědi a kobaltu a anionty fluoru a fosforu. Ze změřených výsledků byly vypočítány hodnoty sorpční kapacity a pomocí programu DataFit 8.1 byly vytvořeny matematické modely, které byly vneseny do grafů. Z výsledků je patrné, že pro odstraňování většího spektra anorganického znečištění z vod je vhodné, aby byly v humátech železa zastoupeny jak železnaté, tak železité ionty. Poměr by měl být volen tak, aby zvýhodňoval železnaté ionty, které ve většině testů prokázaly vyšší sorpční schopnosti.

Abstract:

The diploma work is dealing with advantage of the untraditional sorbents by eliminating the mineral compounds from waters, and so sorbtion qualities and the capacity of humates iron. At work were rated the sorbtion efficiencies of humates ferric and ferrous in unrestrained dried and lyofilized form for inorganic pollutants, specifically cations of cuprum, cobalt and anions of fluorine and phosphorus. By solutions established by measurements were computed values of sorption capacity and by using the program DataFit 8.1were constructed the mathematic models, which were enlisted to graphs. From results is evident, that for removing the bigger spectrum of the mineral pollution of waters is suitable, to be represented at humates of iron as ferric and so ferrous ionts. Proportion should be suitable to use to advantage the ferric ionts, which were demonstrated higher sorbtion efficiency at most of tests.
