New trends and innovations in On-The-Go Dining with a focus on the motorist segment

Abstract:

V úvodu bych rád uvedl hlavní důvody výběru vlastního tématu bakalářské práce. Úzce se podílím na vývoji fast food zóny na čerpacích stanicích a vidím spoustu rozdílností dle značky čerpací stanice a současným trendům v oblasti rychlého občerstvení. Bakalářská práce analyzuje jednotlivé odlišnosti čerpacích stanic, a to primárně v nabídce občerstvení a poskytovaných služeb. Motoristé jsou vnímání jako velmi specifická skupina lidí, kteří tráví převážnou část svého života, jak pracovního, tak soukromého, na cestách. Rozvoj dopravní silniční sítě a stále lepší dostupnosti běžného obyvatelstva si pořídit vlastní automobil, vede k neustále vzrůstajícímu počtu dopravních vozidel na našich silnicích a dálnicích. Velmi tomuto trendu přispívá vlastní poloha České republiky, díky které je vnímána jako tranzitní stát a nemalým vlivem se na oblíbenosti naší země v oblasti tranzitu podílí i nízká cena dálničních poplatků. Všechny tyto faktory poukazují na skutečnost, že se na českých silnicích a dálnicích se pohybuje stále více osob. Pro tyto cestující motoristy je potřeba vyvíjet adekvátní zázemí, kterého budou smět využít během jejich vlastních cest. Průzkumy veřejnosti odkryly spoustu nových zajímavých poznatků v oblasti potřeb pro motoristy a spolucestující. Historicky byla v konkurenčním prostředí pro motoristy rozhodující cena paliva. Poslední dobou se ovšem vnímání ze strany motoristů velmi mění a zaměřují se na samotnou úroveň místa, kde se rozhodnou zastavit. Jedním z hlavních faktorů utvářejících vlastní atmosféru na čerpací stanici či motorestu je nabídka občerstvení a úroveň poskytovaných služeb. Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapování a porovnání nabídky stravování a služeb na čerpacích stanicích a dopad vývoje nových trendů v oblasti stravování a služeb na vybraných čerpacích stanicích.

Abstract:

In the introduction, I would like to give you the main reasons for choosing my own topic of bachelor's work. I am closely involved in the development of the fast food zone at petrol stations and see a lot of differences according to the brand´s and current fast food trends. The bachelor's work analyses the different differences between petrol stations, primarily in the refreshments sector and services provided. Motorists are perceived as a very specific group of people who spend a lot of their lives, both work and private, on the road. The development of the motorway road network and the increasing availability of the ordinary population to purchase their own car is leading to a steadily increasing number of vehicles on our roads and motorways. The Czech Republic's location contributes greatly to this trend, which makes it perceived as a transit state, and the low price of motorway charges also contributes to our country's popularity in transit. All these factors point to the fact that more and more people are moving on Czech roads and motorways. For these travelling motorists, there is a need to develop an adequate background which they will be allowed to use during their own journeys. Public surveys have revealed a lot of new interesting insights into the needs for motorists and fellow travelers. Historically, the price of fuel has been decisive for motorists in a competitive environment. Lately, the perception on the part of motorists has changed greatly, focusing on the level of place where they choose to stop. One of the main factors shaping your own atmosphere at the service station or motorhome is the offered level of refreshments and the level of service provided. Bachelor's work aims to map and compare catering and service offerings at petrol stations and the impact of developing new trends in catering and service at selected petrol stations.
