Abstract:

V této diplomové práce je zkoumána a provedena analýza jevu offshore finančních center. Je prezentován jejich historický vývoj a rovněž to, jak jsou ovlivňovány mezinárodní organizací OECD. Stejně tak i jaké následky měl pro některá offshore centra vstup do EU a jaký měly vliv na globální ekonomiku, jakož i na některé národní ekonomiky. Tato práce se dále věnuje vysvětlení pojmů offshore bankovnictví, offshore pojišťovnictví včetně zásad jejich fungovaní a dalším způsobům využití offshore lokalit. Druhá kapitola práce popisuje , jaké další subjekty mají status daňově zvýhodněné osoby, jaká je jich specifika a jak mohou být užitečné. Poslední kapitola se věnuje detailnějšímu rozboru určitých daňových rájů, jejich historickému vývoji, podmínkám, které nabízejí, ale i problémům, se kterými se předmětné offshore státy setkaly. Téměř z každé komplikované situace existuje vždy nějaké východisko nebo alternativní varianta. I tento aspekt práce podchycuje.

Abstract:

In this thesis the analysis of the phenomenon — the offshore - financial center is investigated and carried out. Historical development of the offshore as they were influenced by work of an organization of OECD is specified. And what impact has been for some offshore centers joining the EU, and what effect it had on the economy as a whole and for the individual state's economy. Also this work describes such concepts as the offshore banking, the offshore insurance and basis of their activity and other ways of use the offshore centers. The second part of work indicates what subjects have the status of the favourable taxpayer, what are their specifics and how they can be useful. The last part of work describes in more detail the offshore centres, their historical development, conditions which they offer also problems which the states faced. Almost from each difficult situation there is an exit or alternative options which are described here
