European refugee crisis and its solutions

Abstract:

Aktuální evropská uprchlická krize je poměrně výrazně pojednávané téma, jak v rámci jednotlivých členských států EU, tak v rámci Evropské unie jako celku. Česká republika společně s ostatními zeměmi Visegrádské čtyřky (Slovenskem, Maďarskem a Polskem) zaujímají k přijímání různých opatření, týkajících se migrační krize podobná stanoviska, o některých záležitostech vlády všech čtyř zemí jednají společně a přijímají společná ustanovení. Tato práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol a následně několika podkapitol. První kapitola se zabývá Visegrádskou skupinou, příčinami a charakteristikou současné situace v Evropě z hlediska uprchlické krize. Druhá kapitola analyzuje průběh uprchlické krize v jednotlivých zemích Visegrádské čtyřky. Ve třetí kapitole se zaměřuji na přístup ke krizi v rámci Evropské unie a některá řešení, která byla doposud zavedena. Poslední kapitola pojednává o projektu You are welcome, který je zaměřený na integraci příchozích uprchlíků do evropské společnosti a probíhá v osmi státech Evropy, z toho ve třech zemích V4.

Abstract:

Current European refugee crisis is a relatively well-discussed issue both within the EU Member States and within the European Union as a whole. The Czech Republic, together with other Visegrad countries (Slovakia, Hungary and Poland), have similar opinions on the adoption of various measures related to the migration crisis, sometimes the governments of all four countries act together and adopt common provisions. This thesis is divided into four chapters and several subchapters. The first chapter characterises the Visegrad Group, the causes and characteristics of the current situation in Europe in terms of the refugee crisis. The second chapter analyzes the process of the refugee crisis in each of the countries of the Visegrad Four. In the third chapter, I focus on the approach to the crisis within the European Union and some solutions that have been introduced so far. The last chapter analyses the project You are welcome, which focuses on the integration of incoming refugees into European society and is being implemented in eight European countries, of which in three V4 countries.
