The Czech Puppetry - The Situation Analysis of the Czech Puppetry in the Relation to the Registration on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity

Abstract:

Práce popisuje historii loutkářství obou dvou zemí, zastupující instituce a subjekty loutkářství v České republice i na Slovensku (divadla, muzea, festivaly, instituce a uskupení) a dokládá čtenáři důvody, proč je tento druh nehmotného kulturního dědictví výjimečný. Zároveň by měla poukázat na podstatné náležitosti pro zápis na Reprezentativní seznam nehmotného kulturního dědictví lidstva UNESCO.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis describes the history of puppetry in both countries, describing institutions and representatives of puppetry in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (theatres, museums, festivals, institutions and individuals) and shows the reader the reasons why this type of intangible cultural heritage is exceptional. At the same time, it points out the essential requirements for registration on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
