The use of educational games for primary reading teaching

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje podrobné problematice didaktických her, konkrétně v elementárním čtení. V teoretické části je objasněna důležitost celkové připravenosti dítěte na vstup do školy. Dále práce obsahuje základní učební metody využívané ve výuce elementárního čtení a stručnou teorii her se zaměřením na hry didaktické. V praktické části je vyhotoven sborník didaktických her pro výuku elementárního čtení. Hlavním zdrojem k získání her byl použit dotazník, kterým byli osloveni učitelé prvních tříd základních škol. Didaktické hry, v celkovém počtu 96, byly následně kategorizovány do 7 kapitol dle jejich významnosti využití v dané cílové oblasti. Z dotazníku byly mimo jiné získávány informace týkající se časové dotace a zařazení didaktických her ve vyučování elementárního čtení a také zdroje sloužící pro tvorbu didaktických her.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is dedicated to the detailed issues of educational games, specifically in elemental reading. In the theoretical part is reflected the importance of the overall preparedness of the child at the entrance to the school. Furthermore, the diploma thesis contains the basic teaching methods used in teaching elementary reading and a brief game theory with a focus on learning the game. In the practical part is made a collection of educational games for teaching elementary reading. The main source to obtain games was the questionnaire, which were answered by teachers in the first classes of primary schools. Didactic games, in a total of 96 were then categorized into 7 chapters according to their significance applications in the target area. From the questionnaire were derived information on the subsidies and the classification of educational games in the classroom in elementary reading and also the resources used for the creation of educational games.
