The analysis of unemployment in cohesion regions in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou nezaměstnanosti v regionech soudržnosti v ČR a okolních státech. Cílem bakalářské práce je porovnat regiony na úrovni NUTS 2 v ČR a okolních zemích vzhledem k míře nezaměstnanosti a dalším ukazatelům. Dalším cílem je nalezení a popis společných vlastností regionů ve vytvořených skupinách. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zabývá vymezením základních pojmů z oblasti nezaměstnanosti, vymezením klasifikace NUTS a základními informacemi o Eurostatu. Praktická část bakalářské práce se zabývá analýzou a klasifikací vybraných ukazatelů nezaměstnanosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of unemployment in cohesion regions in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare regions at NUTS 2 level in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries, given the level of unemployment and other indicators. Next aim is to find a description of the common characteristics of the regions in the created groups. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the definition of basic concepts of unemployment, defining the NUTS classification and basic information about Eurostat. The practical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and classification of selected indicators of unemployment.
