The aim of this thesis was to explore the relations of the preference of game design aspects with mindfulness and IGD in a sample of Slovak World of Warcraft players. The theoretical part introduces the basics of game design, the concept of mindfulness and Internet gaming disorder (IGD), and previous research focused on the associations of these concepts to game design.
