The "Bauhaus": founders, principles, impact

Abstract:

This thesis deals with prominent figures that either influenced the Bauhaus art school or have themselves been influenced by it. It also lists important aesthetic principles and teaching methods that were recognized and promoted by the Bauhaus. Furthermore, the thesis details the history of the school and introduces the reader to the life stories of the teachers or successful students and their work. Finally, the thesis points out the influence that Bauhaus holds today.

Abstract:

Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit bedeutenden Persönlichkeiten, die die Bauhaus-Kunstschule beeinflusst haben bzw. das Bauhaus sie beeinflusst hat. Hinzu kommen wichtige ästhetische Prinzipien und Lehrmethoden, die vom Bauhaus anerkannt und gefördert werden. Es bietet auch Schulgeschichte und Lebensgeschichten von Lehrern oder erfolgreichen Schülern und führt die Leser in ihre Arbeit ein. Nicht zuletzt zeigt sich in der Arbeit der Einfluss des Bauhauses von heute.
