Abstract:

Skrze dotazníkové šetření byla sbírána data, jejichž účelem bylo analyzovat trh a zjistit, zda je v Pekingu dostatek stravovacích zařízení specializující se na evropskou gastronomii, především pak, jak moc vnímají rezidenti absenci české kuchyně v dané lokalitě. Na základě tohoto výzkumu se uskutečnil rozsáhlý výzkum deskripce a kvantitativní výzkum. Kvantitativní výzkum pomocí sémantického diferenciálu porovnával preference rezidentů a cizinců ve stravovacích službách a frekvenci návštěv těchto zařízení. Byl kladen důraz na analýzu možného rozvoje restauračního nebo jiného zařízení, který se specializuje na českou kuchyni. Na základě údajů získaných během tohoto výzkumu je zřejmé, že v oblasti Pekingu je nedostatek restaurací specializovaných na českou kuchyni, ačkoli zájem respondentů o návštěvu takového místa je poměrně vysoký, což vede k závěru, že otevření nové restaurace v oblasti Pekingu, může být považováno za úspěšnou obchodní koncepci, která pokryje tuto tržní niku.

Abstract:

The goal of this research is to analyse the restaurant market of Beijing, China and to find out if there is demand for more catering facilities within Beijing which specialises in European cuisine. For the basis of this research, extensive desk research as well as quantitative research had been conducted. The quantitative research consisted of the semantic differencial and a survey was focused on finding the differences between preferred catering services of foreigners and locals. The emphasis of the research was put on analysis of possible development of restaurant or other catering business which specializes in Czech cuisine. Based on the data acquired during this research, it is apparent that there is lack of restaurants specializing in Czech cuisine within Beijing area although the interest from respondents in visiting such a place is rather high, leading to conclusion that opening a restaurant or other catering facility which specializes in Czech cuisine within Beijing area could be considered a successful business concept.
