Implantation of posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens ICL – long-term outcomes
Abstract:
Disertační práce představuje dlouhodobé výsledky implantace nitrooční fakické zadněkomorové čočky ICL (implantable collamer lens) u dvou skupin pacientů, myopů (40 očí) a hypermetropů (22 očí). Hodnotili jsme nekorigovanou a nejlépe korigovanou zrakovou ostrost, sférický ekvivalent, centrální vault a výskyt pozdních pooperačních komplikací. Průměrná doba sledování činila 10,5 let.
Abstract:
The thesis presents long-term outcomes of posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens (ICL) implantation in two groups of patients, myopes (40 eyes) and hyperopes (22 eyes). We evaluated: uncorrected and best-corrected visual acuity, spherical equivalent, ICL central vaulting and late post-operative complications. The average follow-up period was 10.5 years.
